NAME
        cp - copy files and directories

SYNOPSIS
        cp [-rv] SOURCE DEST

        cp [--skip=FILE1[FILE2[,...]]] SOURCE ... DIRECTORY

DESCRIPTION
        Copy SOURCE to DEST, or multiple SOURCE(s) to DIRECTORY.  cp will usually refuse to leave the root filesystem while recursing.

OPTIONS
        -r, --recurse
                recurse into directories

        -v, --verbose
                be verbose

        --skip=FILE1,FILE2,...
                skip all files whose absolute path starts with any of FILE1, FILE2, etc.  Paths are delimited by a comma (,)
